"I got something to do with ginger chicken. It was delicious even though I don’t typically love ginger. I just got a small bowl and it was a perfect size for what I needed. My wife got some malasadas (donut things) and they were delicious. I’m gluten-free and dairy free and they were very attentive to my needs. There are a couple of small tables out front and no tables inside."

"It’s a neighborhood vibe! We did the ginger chicken, chicken bai mi, & the vanilla & chocolate Maladaa in cinnamon and sugar. It’s not your traditional baimi sandwich and many ways but the bread and chicken with the fresh cilantro make a nice sandwich! The ginger chicken plate was good - mac was mid. The dessert 10 no notes- only that we wished we had an espresso and a scoop of vanilla!"

"Make the trip to Hanapepe and stop here for the best food from the best people on Kaua’i! My family tried everything on the menu! Fantastic Bahn Mi sandwich with daikon radishes! The plate lunches were soooo good! Perfect balance of savory and fresh flavors between the perfectly seasoned and roasted pork, the fresh greens from their own garden, and the amazing (and not too sweet) Mac salad! The special was a pork belly and mac salad sandwich served with the literal best gravy we’ve ever had!! And the Malasadas, oh my gosh!! Made fresh for each order, fillings were perfect, and just the right amount of sugar on the outside! On top of all this amazing food was the exceptional service, and friendly atmosphere! The owners clearly care about their food, their customers, and about putting out something wonderful into the world, and it shows! Oh, and if they happen to have their special focaccia bread when you’re there, don’t pass it up, it will change your life!!"

"came to this traditional Hawaiian place for a plate of roast pork over rice and it had the warm gravy and delicious hardiness to this classic dish and reminded me of some Cantonese food but a mix of Hawaiian so it was a nice treat and had it during the Hana Pepe art night with great vibes"
